can my friends computer detect my mp3 player if their the same brand and model?

i want my friend to download music for me because she has highspeed and i dont,but im not sure if her computer will detect my mp3 player. its a creative zen v,mines 2gb and hers is 1gb

My guess is yes, but why don't you go over to her house and try it?
