Did you not read the answers to your last question about New Orleans? New Orleans is the toilet of the country, apparently, and most people didn't know just how bad it was until Ray Nagin left them to drown and the Governor of Louisiana, cried all over the news, not knowing what to do. The residents, who survived, were taken in by cities all over the country and everywhere they went, the crime went up. Now that a few are back, they're killing each other off at rates faster than the flood.

New Orleans was under the control of Democrats. The safety part came after the Republicans took control from the democrats and finally started saving people. Ha ha on you.
