If you had a brain you would be dangerous.

War's end when the nation you are fighting with signs a peace agreement. That happened in Iraq years ago, the new Government of Iraq and the United States have a political agreement. The "war" is just as over as World War 2 was when Japan surrendered.

There is more fighting against the occupying forces in Iraq than there was against the occupying forces in Germany and Japan. The biggest difference is that we had killed a lot more Japanese and Germans as well as having destroyed about ten times the infrastructure in those nations as we did in Iraq.

We could put the nation under siege the way we did Japan and Germany, destroying infrastructure, killing civilians and starving people the way we did in WW2. That would take the fight out of them.

I kind of like the way we are handling Iraq compared to Germany or Japan. I never thought it was a good idea to bomb civilian targets in WW2 and I am glad we minimized it in Iraq.

Of course the United States is a democracy, so if you think we should handle it the same way we handled WW2 you are more than welcome to lobby to bomb Iraq as badly as we bombed Germany and Japan.

Hey, maybe you can get the US to drop the bomb like old Harry S. Truman did. Democrats love dropping atomic bombs, they are the only ones who ever have. JFK tried real hard but just couldn't push the button.

because he does not ask them he asks people that are part of his own agenda. Colin powell left because he said what he belived and he was ask t leave yeah i know he resigned not a chance he knew that he was fighting a up hill battle. Bush and his cronies are his advisery group but now things are falling apart so he is making a feeble attemp to show others that he is listening to new opions but in the end he will do exactly what he wants to do he is a COWBOY and will do what he wants live above the law forget what the American public wants at least 3/4 of them. Now many of his Republican pals are not voting for funding so get a grip.

Who is Colol powell?

Because he's a petulant son. Nothing wrong with being independent, but not when it's just for the sake of having to prove, at age 60, that you're more of a man than you think your old man was.

Because he is own honorable man. If Bush Sr. had finished the job, George Jr. wouldn't have to do it for him, and America. Go George!

Everyone working with for or around the president is considered his junior. It is based on position not age. They advise, he makes the calls. If correct in the end, your a hero. If wrong, your a zero. We will know by 2008....................
