just curious, i have to use bodo on the car every year anyway, its a 1987 car

I really wouldn't suggest pouring lots of salt on the snow on your car.
Salt is what corrodes your car body and you should really do whatever you can to keep it off your car. Using a broom is a good way to get a bunch of the snow off initially and then I would use a hand held brush for the windows and what not. As far as snow around your car a wide shovel works well. Another alternative would be parking your car in a garage or carport. :)

dig it out, then put down salt.
i just did that this morning... freakin 3 1/2 feet of snow, 4 where there where drifts!

i think its more effective to just dig it out, i think that might take what like 8 minutes tops...but just pouring salt on it might take up to 20 minutes or more depending on the salt:)

Salt my enhance rusting. if its an older car that isn't well kept enough.
