fender guitar?

is this a good acoustic guitar? i know fender makes great bass guitars but are their acoustic good as well?

I like Fender acoustics- I have one of their classical models, and even though it was pretty inexpensive, it has a really good tone, good action (string height from the fretboard) and it stays in tune solidly.

It isn't horrible, but if you spend a little more you can get a great acoustic guitar - Alvarez, Martin are great. Gibson/Epiphone make great acoustics too - and I know some may snarl at me, but so does Washburn.

Do some research to find out where this guitar is made. Gauging by the price it is probably a mass-produced guitar, which alot of Fenders are. Point is you CANNOT beat quality.

Look at it this way; would you want a machine made Fender from Mexico or a hand made Fender.

You know, you can buy guitars on the internet, but unless you like the way they sound or feel, what's the point?? If you are really interested in this specific model, then check out local music stores, and get your hands on one. Play it, listen to it. Take a friend or two along, see what they think. If you still like it, then buy it!

If the store won't match the online price, then go ahead and get in online. I've bought 2 5-string basses and a keyboard online, but those are a little different from an acoustic guitar.

In general, sure. All depends on the price-point. Yamaha's are excellent, although they make a cheap model that isn't as great.

looks fine to me.. I've never played one of these particular ones.. Price is not bad!
