I need some help. On 11/24/06 i had my first ultrasound and they said i was 23wks and 6 days pregnant. When i went to the doctor he said according to the ultrasound the conception date would have been 07/01/06 and my due date is 03/24/07. I've never kept track of my periods so the ultrasound is really all i have to go on. The reason for my question is i want to know how accurate the ultrasound would be regarding my conception date? I had broken up with my boyfriend and had sex with another man on 06/13/06 but after that the only man i was with was my ex boyfriend exclusivly until 07/09/06 when i was with the other man again. Anyway, i am back with my ex boyfriend now and we are trying to make things work but i'd like to know who has the better chance of being the father of this baby? Help! I'm freaking out!

If you are working things out with your boyfriend, then he better help you with this! And let him accept your child be it his or the other guys! What can one say, for your situation I feel sorry, when you dont know who is the father, wait for the child to be born and see whose features he/she resembles.

once you omit a era they use the first day out of your very last era to calculate about how some distance alongside you're . you do not easily conceive till round 2 weeks after the only top era so technically your no longer pregnant for the first 2 weeks ! you'll have ovulated overdue also .. Ultrasound dates are frequently precise early in the being pregnant so as that they're going to continuously have a LMP date and a test date to once you're due . in the adventure that they arnt to a lot aside then the dates will stay an identical ! they're going to get carry of the dates once you've yet another test later on and also you may want to discover they're going to all be different .. Alough it would not particularly count number to a lot in the precise as its 2 weeks in the previous and 2 weeks when you type as being finished time period 38-40 2 . I easily were given 30-3 , 6-04, 4-04, a million-04 .. (by technique of my scans) My due date is 1st April as that suits with my era also ! Congrats

You are in a pickle hon. Sorry :(
The doctors will tell you that there is no mistake at this point in pregnancy but I know first hand that there IS. There can be a normal give and take of 2 weeks which leaves you wide open. You are not going to have an easy road here and will need a paternity test. Red Cross does them and it is just a cotton swab in the cheek. Good luck.

Seeing as how you were with another man on the 9th of July and they estimate conception occured on the 1st, you'll probably just have to wait and do a paternity test. The doctor's estimate is just that, an estimate. There is no way to tell, with 100% certainty which day you concieved. Sorry if that isn't the answer you were looking for, but its honest. Everything else would just be a guess. Best of luck.

Unfortunately the only way you will really know is thru a DNA test, the odds are pretty good that either man could be your babies father. You may want to talk to your doctor and see if there is anyway they can test the DNA while you are still pregnant. Good luck with this.
