1. Cost. Mobile phone plans run substantially more than traditional land lines, particularly for local calls.

2. Signal strength. The signal can flicker in and out, particularly if you are in more remote areas (which is ironically a more likely location to need a cell phone).

3. Charging. You need to charge the phone for it to work. There are, however, several options for charging anywhere where there's an outlet, or in your car with an adaptor.

4. Losing a phone. You are responsible for the phone. Lose it and someone finds it and runs up the bill, you're responsible to pay.

5. Plans. You have to typically sign up for a two year plan and you're locked in. If you decide you want out to pursue a better deal, you pay a cancellation fee of $200 or so.

6. Road dangers. If you use the phone while driving or walking, your alertness is compromised and you are noticeably more likely to get in an accident. Be careful out there!

I dont find any disadvantages in mobile phones. They are the only gadget u find that can call, access internet, listen to music, watch videos, send SMS, MMS and e-mail, play games, get everyday uses, use as a flashlight, take pictures and video.....and all together in a small device half the size of your hand

Besides their are some medical studies that have shown that it may lead to brain tumors?

The most obvious one is that all us need to get away and have time for ourselves and with a mobile phone, you are always a phone call away and your whereabouts tracked from the SIMM card in your phone, not only by parties that may have a legal reason to do so, like law enforcement, but anyone with the right equipment and software.
