hey...dont worry i never used to no either but now i do...a predator is a animal that will eat another animal for example-the eagle is the mouses predator ......hope you now what it means now!

If that didnt help then:
for example a dog is a predator of a cat. a cat is a predator of a mouse. a mouse is a predator of CHEESE....?
a animal that hunts certain animals to eat or something... like hunt down another animal or something....? LOL
