Not sure why this question is where it is but Yes, I'm proud to be an American. Things are not so good right now and some bad choices have been made but things can be made better if the politicians would work together and stop fighting amongst themselves - democrats versus republicans. Abe Lincoln said years ago that a house divided against itself will surely fall. You would think we'd learn from history and the mistakes made. You recognize your mistakes and take action not to repeat them. I'm an American through thick and thin, and I'm sure that the British people and German people, etc. would say the same about their countries. I have no use for people that are like fair weather friends or avid sports fans who support their team 100% - as long as they are winning but then bad mouth them when they are losing.

Abdul Hassan's answer - our country is in trouble because we've wasted too much time, money and blood trying to help people like you.

JXT299's answer - Where are you living now since you are so unhappy - you must have moved by now to someplace better?

Yes and gasp! I'm proud of the heritage as well. I am a proud white American Christian. And there is nothing wrong with that.

I was. Not now tho, with our country starting wars just to steal other peoples resources. I am ashamed of our country now, our people, our churches, our political system, especially our courts, it is all, I regret to say, corrupt. Maybe it can heal itself. I hope so. I would love to be proud of this country again. When it was a good country it was the hope of the world, but not now.

Yes
I completely feel that the current Administration is burrying us, but the beauty of this country is that we have capacity to challenge our leaders

Beyond our Administrations incompreable actions, our country does have the great fault of forgetting that our Government are suppose to be mediators

Bottomline, America's freedom of competition is what makes this country great and keeps it alive
