I LOVE THAT SONG!!!! It is so sad, but this song is one of the only Hip-Hop songs that I like!!!!!! Not many Hip-Hop songs have any "substance" or "meaning" anymore!!!! They are all about things that are so superficial!!!!! My favorite Hip-Hop songs are:
Runaway Love
Daddy's Little Girl by Frankie J
Irreplaceable by Beyonce
S.E.X. by Lyfe Jennings

No.
And Hip Hop IS dead, but just doesn't know it yet.
Its now only used as a vehicle for people who are wanna-bes and who otherwise would be quite ordinary and unremarkable.
Wanna-be a TV star?
Wanna-be a Movie star?
Wanna-be a music producer?
Wanna-be a 'business man'?
Start by being a rapper and then sell-out.

I LOVE that song. The whole Release Therapy album is so great. (That's why it won a Grammy) the video for that song almost made me cry.
I think other artists are capable of making this kind of music, they just choose to do the "bling" stuff. If this kind of music sold more, everyone would make albums that were of substance

I like the song I think Luda and Mary made a great song and touched on some social issues that need attention.

yes, the song is very sad though...it talks about young girls who are not as fortunate as we all are....also it describes the troubles of being alone in our world.
