I definitely like to have ample sockets in the kitchen. It's really annoying to have to unplug one appliance to use another. Also, whereever you are going to set up a computer or entertainment center needs to have at least one.
Then also on walls you aren't planning on needing one, but if you ever end up rearranging, you might want one there too.
Basically, the bathroom, lots in the kitchen, and on as many walls possible.

In my jacket... you know how many times I have been out and about and wished I had somewhere to plug something into? My Jacket pocket would be perfect. Could recharge my cell phone and other things. :)

deck or near driveway
on floor and bathroom AND on wall near countertop
more in kitchen near counters AS WELL AS on floor in kitchen
hallway
more in living room on floor or wall near where couch is... especialy if rom is big enough to have couch placed in middle on floor rather than against wall
