I love the phoenix, too. Goes well with the Resurrection. Gives the only hope some of us will ever know-
plus, I almost died in car crash, but they saved me. I had to pick up and go on, and one day I heard the idea of the phoenix in a pop love song, an I identified with it.

I always liked the Greek myth of how the seasons came about, with Demeter, Persephone and Hades. It's really a fun story.

Well, they're not so much myths as Greek stories/plays, but its pretty hard to ignore the Iliad, Oedipus Rex and Medea.

anything having to do with greek gods, but my favorite is the one about Narcissus. i know so many peole like that, and its kinda cool
