Okay, I have a friend, and I think he might be gay. He gets very touchy feely when he sleeps in my bed, just gets cuddly with me. He's flamboyant. He always makes gay jokes around me and when we're with others, cause he knows I might be gay. When we're alone we have such a great time, we know what makes eachother smile and laugh. There is one thing though that he always does and that is, he's always like, "shutup" or "stupid", or "retard", when he talks back to me. He does it sarcastically cause he smiles when he says it. All I want to know is why does he have to do it?

He sounds really immature.

If he calls you *retard* or *stupid*, then you need to let him know that it is making you really uncomfortable and PLEASE STOP! If you don't tell him that you think it's rude, then how will he ever know how you feel?

Perhaps, if you can get passed the immaturity and name calling, then maybe yall can have a decent relationship!

I used to have a female friend who hit me ALL THE TIME. And it was not light hits or love taps..NO, these were HARD hits on the arms, legs, etc, and it freaking HURT. I let her know that it freaking hurts and for her to PLEASE STOP! It pissed her off, but SHE FINALLY STOPPED! Luckily I was not a pansy and I told her how I felt about the hitting.

Cheers

Seems to me he might not have a broad vocabulary, and nothing intelligent to say. You can come back with a smile and say "Don't you just hate wannabe Diva's?" (make sure you smile though he'll get the picture)

It sounds as though he may be frustrated that your relationship has progressed to a more intimate level. Be open to exploring what feels delightful. As for his comments...well that just sounds as though he is somewhat immature and not bright enough to say anything intelligent.

Sometimes people just get used to saying things. Let him know that it bothers you. Ask him not to say it.
