I depends on how much money you have and which anniversary it is. If you are young and don't have a lot of money, you could make a really special dinner for them, rent a movie at the local store and then convenience leave the house for a few hours (and take any siblings with you). If you have a job you could get them a nice gift certificate to a nice restaurant and a gift certificate for a movie theatre and volunteer to babysit any siblings. If you can afford more get a gift certificate to the local day spa for a massage for the two of them and if you can afford more, send them on a cruise. An anniversary sundial is a good idea, there is one that you can find online that is designed to sit indoors on the window sill and make rainbows in the room when the sun shines, and you can have it personalized. We know someone who got one for their parents and had the maker add special date lines for the anniversary as well as the kids birthdays - the time shadow follows the special lines on those days each year. I was babysitting their kids on one of the days and it worked perfectly...it was one of the most awesome things I have ever seen.

Depending on how much you want to spend, a weekend alone at a luxury hotel, dinner for two and tickets to a live show would be great. If you have siblings, perhaps you guys could go in together on this one. No doubt, your parents would love it!

Since you have photo you can print out why not make a card. Or photo shop (or whatever program you have for touching up pictures) a picture and make it more of a piece of art work. Then if you have a cheap frame around the house you can frame it.

My parents' 47th anniversary is this month and I had a picture of their home painted for them. Parents are normally easy to please. I'll bet they would enjoy just spending time with you!
