We have it and have had no problems with it.
Side Note:
I find all the people with SUCH strong opinions about Microsoft vs. Apple to be amusing. I can't imagine that either one is just TERRIBLE as some people want us to believe. I think everyone has personal preference.

Sound like a lot, I saw something in Yahoo Answers that Microsoft has already put out about 15 updates on Vista. Now that is a lot, with the software only out for about two weeks. I would not consider buying this until maybe about a year, or so down the line.

There are a lot of problems with Vista. Mostly that many apps don't work with it. Also - that Mac commercial is true - you have to double approve anything you do. The list goes on - I have to use it just to test in and it bites the big one.

As a MicroSoft beta tester, I went through several versions of the program before the final beta test, It is a clunky, overbearing, processor burning , memory hogging operating system, I have 2 gigs of memory on my machine, it sucked it all down and demanded more, and it would not allow me to run various programs that I need in my daily life, like my online games!

I heard that there's everything wrong with it. Like the guy above me, the Mac commercial is true. They tried to beef up security but now it's just annoying.
Microsoft products always have bugs in them that make people groan when they use them. I think to have a perfect OS from Microsoft is near impossible.

Oh God yes.
I wouldn't recommend it until the summer.
A lot of problems. It's a good program but I was spending way to much time downloading links for all my other programs.
I went back and reinstalled XP.

always wait for at least a year before trying new product, at least let them get some of the bugs out.

Yes - its creators, its history, its ergonomics, its performance
and its future.
If past history is any indication of future performance
I wouldn't hold out too much hope for its reliability
or security either.
