Two answers:

1. they were offended. Freedom of speach isnt global, and even in America it has its limits.

2. they reported before it was closed and yahoo took forever to do anything

Maybe b/c they don't realize that the question is closed and resolved, but they are just responding according to how they feel at the moment. I think it's also b/c they want to ensure that more questions that could potentially be reported abusive don't get asked again. Basically, it's preventative measures.

I didn't know they can , People click on the flags i think for the fun of it
they must be going through the old questions looking for something to report ,

Many of the people who report "abuse" do so without the slightest justification. They are simply pathetic.
