Have you read the course in miracles?
I think if everyone practiced what it says there would be none of the hatred or stupidity you are talking about.
Love and blessings Don

That's a very open question and a difficult one I might add. First of all Save the World from what? it's own destruction or by man? First of all, you would have to go back centuries upon centuries back to the beginning to even try to understand. Hatred and stupidity has been on earth ever since God created man. There can't be "Good" without "Evil" the universe would be unbalanced if there wasn't. Jeolousy, greed, imperfections of the soul and mind all have a part in the fire of hatred and stupidity. God didn't make us a "perfect world". And we His children were not created perfect either. Maybe at first but then curiousity hit Eve in the butt. Society had their different beliefs and morals and ethics. One's that chose the right path and their were those whom chose the wrong path. One can't change on their beliefs if this is how they choose to live. This is an "imperfect world" and one can't change it's destiny. We will always have hatred and jeolousy and greed in this world. We will always have wars because of one's ignorance and stupidity. It would be nice if we could stop the hatred and the fighting but I'm afraid it's only a dream and not a reality.

The world does not need saved. Its a rock with water on it. However, proof of the spirit, manifested in the family, rules the day. The brother and sisterhood of us all, is the illusive balance for peace. . How do we accomplish the brotherhood of man? Science, philosophy and religion must and can harmonize. Be patient!
Peace...

i think only humans can save the world, we need to come together forgetting our difference, our culture. The first thing we need to do is to stop damaging and then we need to find a way to restore the peace and happiness inside ourselves and we also need to help poor people to find a constant source of income, giving one time donation will not do. We need to arrange work for poor people.
We need to stop build more UNO type institution, we need lot of peace activist.
Our governments need to cut down the defense or arms budget and make a budget which is used for building peace institutes.
This is only beginning.

Please read this. I know it's long, but it is also very important!
There is a simple answer to your question: the world will not be saved. But wait, don't give up! Let me explain...
When God created the world, it was perfect. He also created man- perfectly- in His image. Part of this perfection was free choice. Yes, He gave us the power to make our own decisions. Unfortunately, we abused that power and disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit. From that point on, we have known evil, and it naturally a part of us. This caused a rift between God and man, since God is perfect and cannot associate with evil. The punishment for sin is death. Since heaven is perfect, sinful men cannot enter. For thousands of years, the only way to redeem yourself was to offer a blood sacrifice (usually an unblemished lamb or bull).
Now, this all seems very dreary and hopeless, but skip ahead about 4,000 years. Out of His amazing love for us, God sent His one and only Son as a human. He did not come as a king's son as he deserved, but he was born of a virgin in a dirty stable, because nobody would make room for Him. He came to show God's love to an increasingly sinful world. He came to teach us His ways, but most of all, He came to die. Huh? Yes, that's right. Because He died and offered His holy body as a sacrifice for us, we can become perfect in God's eyes and have a wonderful, personal relationship with Him. Because Jesus rose up from the dead after three days, we have victory over death and we can be with Him in heaven forever!
Now, you say, what does this have to do with saving the world? Well, like I said before, this world is not going to last. Because of its wicked ways, it is going to be burned up, and all who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior will be cast into the Lake of Fire and eternal suffering. But God will create a new heaven and a new earth, and all who have put their trust in Him will be there for all eternity! Eternity is a very long time. Where would you rather spend it- burning in fire, or in the presence of God?
So there is nothing any human can do to save the world. The only thing we can do is trust Jesus to fulfil His plans, and go out and tell the world that there is hope in Christ Jesus!

I don't mean to be sarcastic, but I think the only honest answer to such a loaded question would be Batman. Who could save humanity from itself?.......Batman.
