I have 3 kids (two girls and a boy) and the fourth child, according to ultrasound results, will be due by April 2, 2007. I am already feeling it would be due in less than a week. None of the due dates I have been given are accurate since 1999, here in Nigeria.

First day of last menstrual period: June 26, 2006
Estimated date of conception: Monday, July 10, 2006
End of 1st trimester (12 weeks): Monday, September 18, 2006
End of 2nd trimester (27 weeks): Monday, January 1, 2007
Estimated Due Date: April 2, 2007

Is the above accurate? I done it at http://www.mybirthcare.com/calculator.asp
You should always go by your last period cause ultrasounds are not always right.
Good luck and Congrats!

Ultrasounds suck. when I had mine, they informed me my due date become in April. nicely, there become no way i'd have probable been due on the on the spot. notwithstanding, even as they went lower back and calculated the old-shaped way ~ first day of my very last era, they were given a touch nearer with my due date ~ and the humorous element is, I had a era my first month of being pregnant. They then gave me a due date of would 8. for sure, I had my son on the third of would. the placement with ultrasounds is they take maximum of those measurements of the child to make sure the due date depending on the length. My son become 9lbs and 21 inches lengthy and he turned right into a week early. So, i don't think of ultrasounds are all THAT precise. i imagine they provide you with an excellent "theory" yet no longer completely precise. notwithstanding, no longer some thing is thoroughly precise.

Due dates given from ultrasound readings are not supposed to be perceived as being a 100% accuracy prediction. It just gives the doctors an idea of when the child should be born based on the child's size, rate of growth, and other factors.

Ultrasounds can be very off on due dates. The only way you can really trust one is if you have quite a few done threw the pregnancy and all the due dates they give are fairly close.

They say that the early ultrasound is the only one to trust. They say not to go by any that are after 12 weeks. So if you are getting a due date to the 18 week one you defenitly can't trust it.

Ultra sounds are only an estimate which is why you have never had an accurate experience with them. It takes about 40 weeks to reach the ending point of pregnancy. Calculate it your self if you know when you conceived
