This is gonna sound a silly question but most people after the loss of a pregnancy take about 6-7 months to concieve again i lost in july to ectopic but luckily they repaired my tubes and say everything is working well we waited 3months to try after(docters recomendation)nothing happend in the month then my husband was posted away in the army for 5 months hell return in may which will make it 10 months we lost are baby does this give me a better chance of concieving when hes home because if it takes 6-7 months that time for us has past isnt it?
If you think diffrent how long do you think it could be for us?

The truthful answer is, it takes different amounts of time for different people. The time period you should leave is at least 3 months after a pregnancy of any kind, and if your doctor has agreed that you are ready to TTC again, then you should, and yes, 10 months should be long enough to wait.

Please remember though, that it may not happen straight away and that all the time you are getting stressed about getting pregnant, you are actually decreasing your chances of conceiving, as stress can cause infertility.

The most important thing you can do is relax and wait until you are both physically and emotionally ready to start again. Have sex every other day, so that the sperm has a chance to rebuild between times, and find out when you are due to ovulate - this is normally about 10-15 days after the first day of your period, as this will be the best time to try and conceive.

Also, a few tips - when trying for a baby,

a) Let him go on top, as this gives the sperm a clearer and easier passage to the cervix.

b) Put a pillow under your bottom during sex - not only will this help gravity help you, but it will heighten the pleasure for both of you too - not bad!

c) After sex, lay on your back with your legs up against the wall for about half an hour - the longer the better, and this is another way to get gravity to help you.

d) have sex more often around your ovulation dates - get an ovulation kit from the chemist to find out when this is. This is the time the body releases an egg and will be the best time to try and access it.

Well... I hope this has all helped and i wish you the best of luck for the future - i'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

It doesn't take 6-7 months to be able to conceive again(although most doctors will tell you to wait at least a couple of months after ectopic) You can almost immediately after(and people have) Since you still have both of your tubes you do still have a great chance of becoming pregnant rather quickly but don't be too dissapointed if you don't(I know easier said than done) And since you have already had an ectopic once you do get that positive pregnancy test you need to call your doctor ASAP as there is a higher chance for it to be ectopic again

You can get pregnant right after a miscarriage. In your case you had damage that needed time to heal, and for your cycle to regulate. Thats why you waited 3 months.

Most people take 6-7 months because they dont try actively because of the pain of their loss.

You'll get pregnant again as soon as you have sex during your time of ovulation and sperm meets egg. There is not magical time frame of when that will happen. Its just when everything is in place for conception.

Enjoy sex with your husband, you'll be parents yet.

My grandparents made it paintings. They dedicated to a minimum of one yet another and lived aside for 3 years. He grew to become into in Europe struggling with the Nazis and he or she vowed to love him continuously and he or she did till the day he died. That grew to become right into a diverse age. human beings right this moment don't comprehend a thank you to commit like that anymore. Love is incomprehensible, human beings in trouble-free terms love one yet another till something greater valuable comes alongside. you haven't any longer any threat.

my sister lost her first baby (ditto, ectopic) in august and was pregnant again by December. My nephew is 22 now.
Give it time, don't worry about it and it'll happen.
