I remember going to McDonalds or any place with a playground was the best when I was a kid. I also remember having one of those christmas chains of paper to count down Christmas. Christmas day you would spend the whole day playing with your toys. I loved riding in my dads red Toyota truck while he told me all kinds of stories.
I couldn't wait to be a grown up and now I miss being a kid.

I'm 41 and in my 5th childhood. So, I would have to say no. I didn't leave being a kid behind. I still have a job, pay taxes and have FUN!

I gave out valentines (just like the other kids do in grade school) to everyone in my department yesterday. You can STILL be a KID!

I think we all at some times miss being a kid again. I know I use to love coming into my grandmothers house and smelling all the good things she would cook at Christmas and Thanksgiving. But now I'm the one cooking and I hope my grandchildren will think about the same things too later in life. I enjoy being an adult more though.

Of course I do! High School sucks. It's so romanticized on TV. You get endless pages of homework that take most of your time. People are shallow. Your friends betray you. You learn about all the bad things going on in the world. You have to make all these decisions even though you're not ready... I miss the days when I played with toy cars and built little cities with LEGOs.

I definetly miss being a kid...It was a time when I didn't need to worry about school, work, love, money, everything. Being a kid is all about the fun and being an adult is all about responsibilty. I'd love to go back to about age 5 before i discovered boys and heart ache and the stress of everything else...because as they say a scratched knee is easier to mend then a broken heart

I do miss being a kid -- but then I look at my own kids and remember that being a kid had its own worries too. Even though we got to play all the time, we worried about stuff that we wouldn't worry so much about now. We worried about: being different, not being cool, not fitting in, homework, bullies, being left alone, etc. Now if I could be a kid again AND know what I know now, that would be awesome!

Being a kid is not a question of age. It's a question of spirit. You can be a child by enjoying doing small things and being happy with anything. Nowadays, we need to buy things to be happy while when we were kids we used to be pleased with anything. It's the attitude here. You can find kids that are unhappy or feel and act like older people and vice-versa.
Kids like to do whatever THEY feel like doing while grown-ups are supposed to do what Others expect them of doing. It is up to you.

I know I made my choice and I am considered a Big Baby. and I like it :)

I wouln't want to be a kid again. I have a few GOOD memories, but I never felt that I fit in. I was never abused, but there was disfunction in the family, I could feel it. Now that I'm much older I can see what the problems were. Must be a nice feeling to want to be a kid again...

I know what you mean. No bills, no responsibilities. Just play all the time. If I would be able to go back and see my self as a kid, I'd tell my self to co straight to college, don't join the military, and take a course in CREDIT MANAGEMENT!!!! Oh well, at least we can warn our childrren.
