for the past few weeks I have been having very long realistic dreams, I remember them so well, which isnt usual for me.

They have all been quite different, but always ends up going back to a haunted house, on the outside the house is my dads ( who passed away a few years ago) but inside the house Is different.

In my dreams I also have moments of feeling like I cant move, and I have to force myself to move an arm, or walk even.

I get this when i walk into a hautned room, and i feel paralized like i cant run away.

any idea? or are they just weird dreams?

I can see I am going to turn myself into a dreamologist.

First of all anyone who curls themselves into all kind positions are going to have nightmares...even I sleep with my arms under the pillow have similar situations. You went to a haunted house because someone was following you....they could be someone who wanted to put you into an orphanage. When your father died you would still be a little girl....and now he's gone...you miss him very much.......but alas? You keep on going back to the haunted house because you want your father to protect you. Y ou cant accept the fact that your dad cant help you and so you try to run away but it's impossible.

Did you discover something about your father after his passing that you didn't know about him before? You are seeing the house as his. (that is familiar) but when you enter it is different. (his inner self is different) Perhaps you feel that you really didn't know your father very well. And the house being haunted refers to him being in spirit now. There is still something about him that causes you great fear, a paralyzing fear. (leaving you unable to move) or perhaps you are afraid that he can see you now that he is in spirit.
Tell yourself before you go to bed that you will dream about what it is that makes you so afraid. Write down a question and tell yourself that you will dream the answer. Keep a dream journal for about a month and see what comes up.

I feel you have not still overcome the grief or some other emotion associated with your father passing away. The memories are haunting and preventing you to move forward.

There are many good books on dream interpretation. Look up some of them. You may get some more interpretations.

For a start it sounds like you are experiencing sleep paralysis and your brain is trying to make sense of it as you sleep. Very scary but not actually harmful in any way. The reference to your father suggests that you still have times when you miss him and the change in the house is your wish that things could change and he was still here. The fear comes from the fact that you cannot move due to the sleep paralysis.

I think you miss your dad, and you maybe feel you have something to tell him that you did not have a chance to do when he was alive.
