Well not only is there no 10th planet, there isn't even a 9th planet any more. Pluto has been reclassified as a "dwarf planet", along with the largest asteroid, Ceres, which orbits in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, and the newly discovered object Eris, which is orbiting out past Pluto.

There is no tenth planet, and unless the international community overrules their current requirements for planets, there will never be another one found in our solar system. Currently a planet has to meet three criteria:
1: Orbit the sun (and not a planet)
2: Have gravitationally assumed a round shape
3: Be gravitationally dominant over its orbital neighborhood
For reason number three, none of the Kuiper Belt Objects (KBOs), of which Pluto is essentially one, along with various other Pluto sized objects (i.e. Eris) will ever be planets unless this definition is overturned. You may however be referring to 136199 Eris, which is the largest of the dwarf planets (those that meet criteria one and two, but not three.

There is no 10th planet actually. There are only 8 planets in the solar system. Pluto is not a planet, it is considered a dwarf planet. There are a number of dwarf planets in our solar system; other than Pluto there are Eris, Sedna and others beyond the orbit of Neptune.

Planetary objects named thus far are Sedna, Eris (formerly "Xena") , Quaoar, Orcus, Ixion and Varuna. They are way, way out in the Kuyper belt, in very slanted, eliptical orbits so scientist are still arguing about their sizes and orbits. Pluto was probably demoted because it's more like them than the other planets. It's likely we're going to find a lot more big rocks out there.

There is no tenth planet, at least not yet. Nor is there any generic scientific name assigned to it. The media and general public may be inclined to use the term "Planet X."

The planetary status is definitely in question, but it is larger than Pluto who I believe is now excluded from an exclusive club. It is called Sedna. Go to the link and you will find out some of the details on this newly discovered body.

There are only eight planets in our solar system. The nineth planet i.e. pluto is removed from the list of planets in our solar system. The name of the tenth planet(previously) is UB315 I think.
