The easiest (and cheapest) way to do this is to download a free program called PSP9. PSP9 can be used to both convert your video into the format needed for PSP as well as then transfer it to your PSP in the proper directory (one of the Root directories on your memory stick, I can't recall which) PSP9 gives you the options to set framerate, aspect ratio and audio quality to determine how large the final file will be. I haven't used it lately so I don't recall all of the specifics, but it does it all via a pull down menu - very simple interface.

ok go to google vids. Find a video from google not youtube And on the side of the video (like where the title is) it says download for winows /mac psp/ipod and click on that and choose psp. I am not sure but i think google will lead you through it. All u need is an usb cord.

like the other person said psp video9 is a good program. just google it. however if you are trying to convert dvd videos it doesn't work too well i would suggest a differnt program for converting dvd movies into something like mpg, mpg2, or wmv before converting to mp4.
