It seems that all us Welsh give the same sort of answer. I always answer, Welsh. Many people don't know where it is, but that just opens up an opportunity to educate them a little.

I say I'm Welsh. The biggest advantage to that is most foreigners have never heard of Wales and therefore cannot judge me because of where I come from.

Currently I am in Mexico all people think I am from london at that it is the only place that exists. When I say I am English they reply with 'Ahhh London' I say no I come from near Leeds...but they don't have a clue, but when I say I am near manchester I get a similar response 'aaahhhh manchester, si!' but they dont have a clue, its annoying to be associated with the football saga.

It depends where I go - as I'm Welsh many people don't know that our little country exists, so I say Britain and then try and explain further, if I'm in a country that's likely to know where on the map I'm from then I say Welsh.

I am proud to say both!!

I definitely say I'm English, seems the word " British " UNFORTUNATELY is old hat now, instead of calling our united countries "Great Britain", we are refer ed to more as " United Kingdom". I personally pref. G.B to U.K.
