Yeah there will still be the really bad jobs left, but the illegals will probably take all those jobs. Almost everyone goes to college now so it's not like your college degree will be worth much. More people wont have health care or dental care so we wont need as many doctors and dentists.

Actually free trade has created more US jobs than it has lost us.

We have more jobs designing products and financing the companies that design products and slightly fewer jobs assembling the pieces that go into the products.

This was supposedly what everyone wanted.

Everyone except people who don't want to make their living doing anything more complicated than sorting.

Your points are valid arguments against raising the minimum wage and taxes on big money. The more expensive we make it, the more attractive outsourcing becomes. Also, if the illegals are taking the jobs that aren't worth their pay in the minds of the Americans, there will be more of those after a hike in wages. I agree with the point made above, that the problem isn't really as serious as many would lead you to believe...YET. But why do we continue to make policies, while intended to help the disadvantaged and poor, that actually have the opposite effect?

The American dream is a government job. Good money, dont have to produce, sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, retirement and pretty much a secure position. This does not include the military
