Its a very close tie between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar. But personally, I like Brock just a tad more. Brock was a big muscular guy but unlike wrestlers such as batista and cena, he could actually wrestle very well. He had great technical skills. Not to mention the fact that this big monster could move very fast like a cat. And to the above answerer. Yes he messed up the shooting star press. But if Kurt was closer, brock could have made it. And the fact that he even attempted a move like that, shows he had to the drive and the courage to try something that dangerous. Especially for his size. Its just too bad he left. hopefully we'll see him again. He was great.

Having been a wrestling fan dating back to the late 70s, (yeah, I know, I'm old), I have a hard time with this question...
So please allow me to dissect them for a moment.
Brock Lesnar was terrible. He was supposed to be the next Hulk Hogan, but he lacked an important element - Charisma. He was the worst performer on a microphone in the company at the time. That's absolutely why his manager did all the talking for him for about his first year or so in the company. Whenever Brock got on the mic, you could just tell he was not comfortable. Paul Heyman is responsible for all the success Lesnar had. Add to that the fact that he had muscles on top of muscles, his in ring work should have been much better. He had some clean moves and did well enough, but things like the shooting star off the top rope for someone of that size is just a bad idea to begin with. No wonder he nearly killed Angle.
Stone Cold was the opposite. Great on the microphone, and the controversial roles he played in the industry along the way really added to his character. People could identify with him and his attitude. In fact, he ushered in the whole "Attitude' era at a time when a lot of other super-stars had a much larger fan base. The double middle finger at McMahon is classic. All in all a great performer.
Kurt Angle started out slowly in WWE. They did well to maximize his potential over the years, and while he made many changes from face to heel over that time frame, he was always a crowd favorite. Even the whole 'YOU SUCK' chant worked for him. Good guy or bad, you could get into an Angle match, because he never gave a bad performance. His work reminds me a lot of Eddy Guerrero and Chris Benoit - you can tell those guys just live to do this. Add to all this the fact that he has suffered significant injuries during his time as a wrestler, both amateur and professional, but has battled back to be great, and you have the makings of a franchise player.
Bill Goldberg... I must admit, during the WCW / WWE Monday Night Wars, I was a much bigger WCW mark than WWE. Goldberg was great. He was built like a brick-outhouse, and dominated people night after night. The streak he had of consecutive wins was a great way to get his career in the industry going. It worked so well that they've tried it again with other wrestlers. Most recently, both Chris Masters and Umaga from WWE, and Samoa Joe from TNA come to mind. They didn't come near his length of a winning streak, but it was always mentioned how they were undefeated. He was an innovator as well. Before Goldberg, nobody heard of the 'spear' - and since he's been gone, I can't think of anyone that does the 'jack-hammer'. He wasn't dirty either - he just got in there and stomped on people.
In the end, for me it comes down to Angle or Goldberg. Lesnar shouldn't even be in this conversation. Stone Cold has very strong points, and I wish he were still around. Goldberg did not do as well in WWE as he did in WCW, which is the producer's fault, not his own. Angle has moved on to TNA to battle with Christian and Jeff Jarrett...
If I have to pick just one. . . I'd say Angle. He's held every major title in the business in this era, with the exception of the NWA belt in TNA. I'll bet before he's done he holds that one too.
Please excuse my length of a response, but I took this as an opportunity to perhaps educate other posters to this question.

kurt angle can adjust to the wrestler he fights and he has increidble endurance
lesnar was good but the wwe tried to make him into a bigger kurt angle and he should of stuck more to his power game
goldberg was just pure force and nothing else
but id give it to stonecold because he brings the fight to people and no one in the last 20 years had the drive and pop that he had

lol that's a humorous tale journey. unwell admit side and randy orton group is outfitted tag group clever greater beneficial than the different yet goldberg on my own could beat their finished group provided that they have made him beat up evolution, could upload that they had hhh, orton, batista and ric flair, the comparable is going with brock lesnar together with his roid rage, and stone chilly in case you bear in mind alliance vs wwf stone chilly beat sh!t out like 30 wrestlers basically together with his stunner. kurt perspective on different hand would lose to side and kane yet no longer orton or gregory helms.

Stone Cold was the biggest draw ever since Hogan, he really put incredible excitement into the shows.
Kurt was the greatest pro wrestler of all time in terms of wrestling, in my opinion.
Brock was a great wrestler and had the full package for being a major player in pro wrestling but his heart wasn't in it.
Goldberg was a two-trick pony who really didn't do anything to impress.
Overall, I would say Kurt was my fave.
