One word for you: Banana. Remember when No Doubt actually had lyrics to their words? Now Gwen Stefani thinks that by spelling "banana" she can actually get a popular song? That's the thing; it's not that artists are lazy, it's that they're pumping out these songs that don't make sense, but people eat them up. Then after their fifteen minutes, they come out with another sh*tty song featuring something like "Pavlov - p-a-v-l-o-v-e I love my salivation, p-a-v-l-o-v-e" or something gay like that. unbelievable. It's just cookie cutter music now-a-days. The industry is working smarter not harder to get the $hi# that people think they want to hear on the radio, so they make more money faster. They have a formula that works, and until we wake up and "listen" to the music they are just gonna keep putting out the same mundane crap just to make easy money. That's why I listen to mostly classic rock and older hip hop/rap. Or local bands that are less mainstream.

Unfortunately, most of the music coming out these days is like that. No one is original anymore. I rarely listen to the radio anymore because I have no interest in the crap coming now.

People need to stop buying and endorsing crappy music! I only spend my hard earned money on legitimate artists! Radio stations need to be more diverse and play great performers like Tom Petty or John Mellencamp.
