Why does my muskie-crazed hubby need to have 4 copies of his big fish pictures? There one at home on the computer, one on a disk at my mom's, one on a CD at home in another room and I have one on my computer. Is there something more acceptable than making numerous copies? Some storage place on the internet?

Microsoft is coming out this year with a Windows Home Server which will automatically backup and store everything on each computer in your house. It will also make the files available (via a secure web site) to anyone else you decide needs access (like mom, etc). You also need this product because when is the last time you made a backup of all your pictures, songs, financial data files, etc?

You could try the following:

http://www.flickr.com (Free and premium accounts)
http://www.xdrive.com (5GB free storage)

I use both and find them very useful. Flickr of course is tailored more towards pictures and has a very nice gallery.

You could try photobucket.com or he could start his own myspace fishing page.
