My birth certificate only has my name, the nurses' name and my date of birth.

My parents names aren't on it. And I've never in my life got on with my parents. I asked them the other day and they got really angry at me for asking.
Is it possible I'm adopted?

I am adopted and my adopted parents names and info are on my BC. Is this an official copy? Maybe you have a copy that is wrong or incomplete. Your parents should not get angry, but try to answer your questions. Especially if they have nothing to hide.

That's strange. mine has my parents and time I was born along with dr, and hosp. I know states are different but that's how it is for wv and va, i can't imagiine it being any different some where else.

Sure it's possible, but how old are you to where your parents haven't told you if that't true? perhaps you should ask them why they aren't listed on the BC instead of asking them if you are adopted. Adopted parents feel betrayed when asked by the child if they are adopted. It's a good thing when someone adopts but it's so hard on everyone.

My sister in law is adopted and I know a couple who adopted from Russia. We were going to adopt when we thought I was inertile. You could research the nurse's name and try to track her down. Are there other reasons why you think you might be adopted? Not getting along with em is typical for some.

it is possible that you are adopted or in a foster home with foster parents.
