I think that Navajos probably have the same mixture of good and bad people that any other ethnic group has. As a group, I feel that Native Americans have not been treated fairly by the United States government. It is difficult/pointless to assign blame for occurrences of long ago, but right now everything could be changed to be fair in the areas of health care, education, and housing. I love Navajo stories and legends. Navajo products that I've purchased in Gallup, New Mexico are outstanding in their quality and creativity.

Uh. I don't think anything when I hear Navajo. I'm not familiar with any stories specifically naming Navajo's. Not even sure where they are from. Dead ignorant.
As for good or bad, since I'm not prejudice against Native Americans I'm gonna go with depends on the individual. Don't really hear alot in general about Native American crime.

I did a voter's rights trip in the Navajo nation. Everyone I ran into was friendly although at the same time I definitely felt like an outsider. I liked them and tried to think of a way to just go back and visit, but I never could. I still remember the 3 terms I learned, Ya at' eeh, Han t' eeh, k'ojo....

as always there are both good and bad in each and every group of people. however, the Navajo Nation did a tremendous service along with other Native American - First Nation Peoples in defeating the enemies during WWII by using their Native Language along with various code words which could NOT be understood by enemies of the USA.
