Does it need to include anything of an erotic/physically intimate nature?
In regard to that, I've gone as far as mentioning smooth skin, kissing/lips - red, moist, wet but thats about it. I'm more into the romance when it has come to writing, not writing about/describing sex, etc.

What romances (not novels) I have written/plan to write so far, haven't been written for anyone in particular.

I personally love anything that is a romance fantacy. Something more on the unreal side, with perhaps a fairytale like twist. I am actually writing a novel myself with that kind of style in mind and I have already gotten a lot of interest from it.

Well it depends on the person, byt if she's more humorus, then try Can You Keep A Secret by Sophie Kinsella. I found it so funny, but really romantic. If shes more serious, or likes sad movies and such, try A Crack In Forever by Jeannie Brewer. It is my favorite book of all time, and isnt only romance, but it has troubles with family, sickness and alo of hard decicions. It is an amazing book. I hope you;re happy with the one you choose! Enjoy!

I think if I were to make a habit of reading novels I would want positive role models as the characters, no ditzy over descriptions of womens clothes or her accessories and a bit of hanky panky for the imagination - however our imaginations will work themselves out if the right mood is created in the story (suspense works).

Erotism is okay, but things left to the imagination is great. Believe it or not, we want a good plot and the sense of that could happen to me even though it couldn't.

LoL, my friend is reading a book named "Why a Man has Nipples" Its really funny. Its a book about sex facts and things you hear all the time but they are myths...like a guys foot size and his "man" size are the same... its cute I like reading stuff like that.
