If you hate people that hate people ( for example KKK, Nation of Islam) or say you won't tolerate intolerant people (Pat Robertson, Communists, Fascists) have you just become what you don't like?

Yes this is a paradox - I try to be tolerant and accepting but I tend to dislike those who don't. But I also attribute some people's intolerance to ignorance, low self-esteem, and lack of role models in their life.

I don't think you'll find a black and white answer to this question. If there was one, you wouldn't be asking.

No that's dumb.

Are you saying you should love racists because otherwise you'd be as hateful as them?

Think it through next time. Not all tolerance is desirable - do you think child molestors should be given medals for their actions?

What if you adhere to non-violence, but someone stabs you with a knife and you hit them to keep from getting stabbed again? Have you just become what you don't like?

I hate everyone. It is easier that way. Caring about people has just hurt me...so I don't do that very easily anymore...
