Im sick of my old computer it's crap really. and I need a new computer for a game I have and graphics I need to see. all I need is a tower. I wouldnt be so worried about getting parts from a store right near you.
Dont be afraid to order online.
I'd try looking at Newegg.com, they have cheap prices, AMAZING customer satisfaction, and I definitely think you should be able to find a motherboard in that price range.

get a bare-bones system it comes with key components and what it doesn't have take out of your old system. keep your eye's pealed you'll see one that fits your needs or wants.
