Well, my family is better off with Bush in office.

In the last 6 years, my husband and I have both gotten numerous promotions in our jobs, and increases in our salaries, we have been able to buy a new car from money we have saved (no loan necessary!) and we have gotten our daughter a pre-paid college education program.

Our taxes are lower, and our savings are higher. We live in a great neighborhood and have everything we need. The industry I work in, the hospitality industry, has rebounded from the hit we took in 2001 after 9/11, and hotels in the DC area are doing better than ever.

I can only speak for my family and our personal experiences, but this is how I feel.

Took the recession he was handed and has put this country into a very strong economy at the same time as two wars and numerous natural disasters both here and abroad have been addressed . I really like the no child left behind program. It forces teachers to be more qualified that the kids. Too bad we had to go to this length to obtain it. Social programs have had more monies dedicated to them than any previous administration, this President has taken the stupid out of some policies such as the aggressiveness of the environmental plan which would have been a disaster to the poor and elderly cost wise and has given some leeway to create a more logical balance. The tax cuts have been helpful to the nation as a whole. My only issue with this president is his views on dealing with the illegals.

He put in more conservative Supreme Court Justices. That is th only way to end the greatest problem in the nation right now - abortion.

Don't forget retaliating to the terrorists after 9/11. No matter how you feel about the war, you can not debate the facts: we ARE killing terrorists in Iraq.

BS.

Bush is ignorant.

What makes you think the insurgents in Iraq are the terrorists that inflicted pain on millions of Americans? Well you're wrong. Bush clearly knew that Iraq had nothing to do with us or the world, he wanted their oil for us. So he invaded Iraq to steal their oil. The war is supposed to be on terrorism, related to Bin Laden's forces, not Sadam's. Now what's going on with our influence in Iraq? Simply this. We are coming close to a world war with Iran and other neighboring nations.

All this for oil? And it seems it's not even worth it considering prices went up after the war.

I dislike Bush, even if he is our president.

we're the laughing stock of the world because he is an illiterate hick. The worst part is that he's cowering in the pocket of the church. He's a theif, a con man, and a bad American. Thank god he can't steal a third term like he stole the other 2. Oh yeah, and I'm a Republican. At least I was 6 years ago.

They tell us that we live in a great free republic; that our institutions are democratic;
that we are a free and self-governing people. That is too much, even for a joke. ...
Wars throughout history have been waged for conquest and plunder...
And that is war in a nutshell.
The master class has always declared the wars; the subject class has always fought the battles.
