If you "make his life hell" he can definitely get charges brought against you for harassment.
By no means am I siding with sex offenders, but they do have the right to live wherever they wish if they are released from jail or prison.
Leave him alone and go on with your own life. Is it worth it to rack up a criminal history yourself? If you have children, then make sure you tell them to stay away from that general vicinity he lives and maybe even show a picture of him so they're aware he's not a good person.
Be a good person yourself. Leave him alone.

Many sex offenders are NOT rapist or child molesters and no matter what level of offense the offender commits, once they do their time in prison, you don’t have the right to punish them further by harassing and or persecuting them.
Everyone should be given the opportunity to do the right thing(s).
If and or when given the opportunity to do what is right and they STILL choose to do wrong THEN, may God have Mercy on them in this world AND in the worlds to come.
You know he’s there; he knows you’re there.
Make yourself aware of your rights WITHIN the law and keep an eye on him. If he is bent on continuing to be a sex offender, that in itself will make life hell for him because his being watched willl make it virtually impossible for him to commit the act again without being found out.
If needed, CALL THE POLICE.
What if this sex offender is a rapist?
Did you stop to think that you could excite him or incite him to attempt and possibly succeed to RAPE YOU?
You too must do the right thing.
That answer was for the good person that I hope you are.
This answer is for the other ego that I hear in your question.
Just keep being the self-righteous, mean-spirited individual that you seem to be by wanting to make the sex offenders life hell.
Just what exactly is a Sin Sister? What does Sin Sister mean to you and what should it or do you want it to mean to me?
That doesn’t sound like the name of someone that should be making some other’s life hell.
Do you seek out the convicted killer(s) that many of us have living in our communities that have served their time and have been released?
Do you seek them out to ‘make their life hell?
Do you seek out the drug dealer(s) that infest even many of the better communities and many times abet the behavior of the sex offender?
Do you seek out the prostitutes and johns?
Do you seek out the guys that fornicate with and impregnate girls under the age of 18? That is called statutory rape and a crime that usually goes un-prosecuted.
Just how many teen moms are there now?
Do you seek out the gang members that coerce girls into having sex with them to prevent the guy or other girls from ‘beating them up’. BTW, don’t let that word coerce mislead you; any non-consentual sex is rape.
Ask a teen girl you know, ‘what is a ring party?’
When you find out, you’ll also find that not all of them are consensual.
All of the aforementioned you probably don’t even think about and if you did or do, like most, you turn your head to it as if it doesn’t exist.

That's emotional harrassment. Not only is it illegal, but goes against societies morals. Just because he is a sex offender doesn't mean he is a bad person... anymore. He may have changed, and committed crimes years ago. These titles don't go away, so he's stuck with it for his whole life. How would you like it if you committed a crime that you did 10 years ago and are a changed person. How would you like it if people still harrassed you because of that. That's being a bully. Society doesn't like bullys, so not only will you get introuble with the law, but also become an outcast.

first of all no real Christian hates everybody. i imagine you recognize that! you're only making use of your question to evangelise your ideas. i do not hate any of the individuals who practice what you said. My situation is what i do no longer what somebody else does! the guy I follow stated: Love your enemies! Pray for them that persecute you! no longer that someone who disagrees is my enemy, i'm attempt as an example your assumption might want to be faux of a real believer. in the old testomony those issues were strongly forbidden. . in the hot testomony it says they received't inherit the dominion of God. I easily have studied Hebrew and that i recognize what the unique script stated. gay practice's are forbidden in Torah. Plan and straightforward. the first textual content of the Torah (first 5 books) replaced into called the Leningrad Codex! you've the favor to make a reality about the textual content being replaced decrease back your reality! Homosexuallity is a sin in the bible. i do not hate you or any gay. Nor do maximum if any Christians. because someone disagree's with something does no longer advise they hate the guy who does it.

First try to find out the circumstances. Just because he/she is on the list, doesn't mean they are a child molester.
Secondly, don't make their life hell. Stop being so angry and afraid all the time. Crime rates have gone down for the last 15 years, but fear of crime has increased. Why is that?

If you make his life hell, you are opening yourself up to civil and criminal charges. Do you know the circumstances? Is he a violent predator, or some 18 year old kid who had sex with his 16 year old girlfriend?
Nevertheless, these laws are there for us to be aware of potential predetors, but if you harass him YOU are the one who will be in trouble. Big trouble. And this is what gives people like the ACLU basis to overturn the sex predator notification so we wont have the means to know who is living next door to us.

You can start a self-defense class, take gun safety, learn about criminal behavior, invite him/her to a neighborhood meeting. You can work on your paranoia, stop letting the local TV news scare you. Volunteer at a recovery center.
I just hope you dont worry, gossip, and make this neighbor unwelcome, maybe he/her will be a better person if you better yourself.

You have no right to do that. Who are you to be the judge and jury. If this person is a sex offender, certainly they should be punished but not by you! We have a justice system that does that.
