Was trying to decided between the X360 and PS3. However, I think the PS3 offers some bomb graphics and newer technology than the x360. Now, Im wondering if I can play ONLY PS3 games on it or can I play ALL the PS games on it. HELP ME BEFORE I BUY!!!

Yeah, PS2 could play PS1 disks and PS3 could play PS2 disks, that's mean 1, 2, and 3, all total together, the total #s of games will increase.

The PS3 can play almost all PSX and PS2 games, but there are a few games that didn't follow Sony's advice on how to make games backward compatible for future Playstations.

Go here and enter the PSX/PS2 game name and see if it's playable on the PS3:

Yes, you can play old PS/PS2 games on the PS3. However from what I understand from people who have the PS3, the games framerates are terrible, making playing the games unenjoyable.
