Your right about this, it's like Bush answering any questions, He doesn't answer them.

First off nobody watches cspan. Secondly they know that the dems will waste everyones time just to make a spectacle. There is no point in debating anything, Bush already said the debates or resolution won't change anything. There are more important things. Debating that would be like them debating whether we should breath air or water, because at the end of the day we will still all be breathing air, and Bush will still be sending 21,000 troops to Iraq.

Why ask if you answered your own question at the same time?

I have a question for you:

Didn't many of the top Democratic leaders vote to go into Iraq in the first place?

No one I know watches cspan....and what generals are not being heard? The generals are the ones telling us Iran is supplying weapons, the generals are the ones saying we need more troops to secure Baghdad. The voters elected President Bush for two terms...and the democrats are in outer space...they can't seem to agree on anything.

Get off your pulpit. that's meant to be a question/answer communicate board, no longer one on your preaching. This American might elect to work out the Congress perform a little artwork, which could be lots much less complicated in the event that they frolicked debating and balloting on issues that are of their administration somewhat of sending "non-binding resolutions" that are the equivalent of pouting to the Commander in chief. Why do no longer they attempt passing some charges without lots sneaky issues attatched to them? Then possibly issues would desire to easily flow up for a vote and the Congress might run effectively. or possibly in the event that they stopped balloting themselves pay will advance (whilst the overpowering majority do no longer even matter on their earning as Congressmen and Senators as usual earnings) and tried to get some artwork executed, THEN i could be satisfied and proud. What a loaded "question"...

No because all Congress can do is cut funding...it is a waste of time and tax payers dollars to talk about something they can not change...they take enough breaks...hell Hillary hasn't been at work since when? Shouldn't she have to pay back her salary since she is not working???? They need to be making laws, not trying to further their political careers with what they think the voters want...maybe we should vote a few out and their stance on Illegal Immigration and then they would flip flop on that...

They tell us that we live in a great free republic; that our institutions are democratic;
that we are a free and self-governing people. That is too much, even for a joke. ...
Wars throughout history have been waged for conquest and plunder...
And that is war in a nutshell.
The master class has always declared the wars; the subject class has always fought the battles.

What is there for them to debate ? Other than admitting that it was all a bloody blunder, what can they debate ? So, refusing debate is the only option.

The republicans did not. It was the Democrats who postured and pandered, thus derailing the debate.

Probably because there is no sense debating a NON-BINDING piece of crap.
