Depending on the car...some cars will shut off if the oil pressure/level gets too low. When braking, the oil all flows to the front of the oil pan...if it is a little low,it's probably making the sensor think it is empty,so it's shutting down the engine to prevent damage.Knowing Walmart, they probably didn't check the oil level after they filled it..it might be low on oil.

An oil change wouldn't cause the symptoms you describe. Even if they didn't refill your vehicle with oil.

Sound like a charging system problem. You don't mention what type vehicle you have or what year, but more than likely either you altenator or altenator belt has failed or is failing. If your vehicle is running on battery power only, as soon as you let off the gas, you vehicle is going to shut off. Pretty soon, you won't be able to start it.

Have your charging system checked to make sure everything is in order. But don't go to Walmart.

Sounds like they must have moved something they should'nt have. Since your dash lights are coming on it is probably a sensor of some sort. Low oil would'nt make your car cut off unless it was overheating pretty bad. I would definitley take it back as soon as possible, you wait too long they wont do anything about it. Hope I helped.

I would check the oil first off.
