I just saw the latest episode. Was anyone else disturbed by Lynette's discovery about her neighbour's "hobby"?

For those that don't know, Lynette discovered pictures of young boys all over a room in her neighbors house. In other words, her life saver is a paedophile.

We all know you're asking for trouble if you go wandering into neighbours' basements, don't we?!

I think there was something creepy about him from the start - after all, absolutely everyone on that show, apart from the five main 'wives', has a mysterious secret, don't they?

They set it up so that a) he saves her life, then b) she discovers a wonderland of toys, pinball machines etc., then c) sees the pics. We're obviously meant to think about her dilemma; the fact that this is an evil person who did something wonderful - saved her life - but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there's another explanation (this is fiction, after all!) like they're all his god-children or something, to teach us not to jump to conclusions. I only saw pictures of boys, but in the clip from next week she's worried about him talking to the little girl... Let's see how she struggles to show gratitude and extreme disapproval at the same time!

That was the freakiest episode ever. The way the screenplay played up Parker's fear of the hostage taking and then called their neighbour Protector Man is going to be Lynette's nightmare. How will she now protect him. I am not a mum but I dropped my jaw in fear only imagining how a parent would feel at that discovery.

We have yet to meet the sister of Art Shepard because having to take care of a disabled sibling is a pretty good trump card for a paedophile. Brilliant storyline!

It's a very tricky subject for the producers to handle and they are brave to do it.
It will be very interesting to see how it pans out, especially as Lynette has three boys and is very protective, of them as any mother would be.

I think it was very disturbing and shocking - but I guess it was supposed to be!

we are (the visitors) no longer precisely particular yet. yet i can infer that: the mummy killed someone, it ought to were self-defence. Now they are operating from the regulation and they have fake names. She were given those mysterious scars one way or the different. i do not study you yet im fairly commencing to love her. She's cool and she is growing to be anybody's pal. pondering Ana is getting fairly on the fringe of Danny i imagine that she must be the first to make certain their secret.

Yeah that was nasty. As soon as I saw all the toys in the basement I could see what was coming though.

Parker is going to trust him as well because he thinks he's a superhero...oh it's all going to go horribly wrong.
