Almost certainly not. The pill's effects on fertility are generally gone by three months after you take the last one. In rare cases the pill does suppress ovulation for longer than this, and the mechanism isn't clear why.

But in any case, if you haven't conceived after two years of routine (2-3x/week) unprotected sex, you should talk to a doctor and see what's going on. Bring your partner along... about 40% of infertile couples have a male factor. Sometimes it's an easy fix!

do not stress. my friend was off the pill 8 years and didn't worry about it and she got pregnant after 8 years. it will happen when the time is right. i just got off the pill because i am getting married later this year so i want to get my body on a natural cycle so i an start trying after i am married. so don't worry

Once you're off the pill it shouldn't affect your ability to conceive. I know people who got pregnant a month after they went off. There may be some other kind of problem that you should check with your doctor about.

Sounds like you are having some difficulty. Have you calculated your ovulation times? You can find ovulation calculators on line. All you need is to enter dates of your last period and the length of your cycle. A woman is most fertile during ovulation and it significantly increases your chances of getting pregnant. Good luck.
