Breastfed babies are almost NEVER constipated, it is virtually impossible. It is also completely normal for a breastfed baby not to poo for up to 7 days.
The only ways to diagnose constipation in infants is to see the hard poop or have a doctor conduct an exam.
And another word of caution, while most home remedies are safer than medications giving juice to such a young baby is not a good idea, nor is more than 2oz of water per day. But in particular I want to warn you about Karo (corn) syrup, there is more and more evidence that corn syrup can carry botulism. Which as you know can be fatal to infants.

Its normal for breastfed babies to not have a bowel movement for 3-5 days at a time after the 6 week mark.
Its really uncommon for a breastfed baby to get constipated, and there would be signs like fussiness, hard stool, or 5 days with no poo. Generally its caused by dehydration and you'd notice his soft spot being sunken in all day.
He's fine.

Medically, a breastfed baby is never considered constipated.
As long as your baby is feeding fine and seems happy, and isn't in distress - like straining to go or acting in pain, don't worry for now. Babies' bowel habits change a ton of times when they're small. What's normal this week, might not be next month.

This is totally normal :)
My daughter once went 10 days!! and boy, when she went, she WENT!! LOL be prepared for a really FULL diaper!
Constipation is actually defined by the type of stool, not necessarily the frequency. As long as your baby's stools are soft/yellow regardless of *when* they are passed, don't worry :)
If you are REALLY concerned even still, take your baby to a chiropractor. They can work wonders of the digestive system :)

Don't worry, Moms before you have already done the worrying and their babies are fine, as long as when he does poop it is soft. I remember the first time my son skipped a few days worth of pooping and it all came out when he was in his jumper,I smelled something and got down on the floor to check his diaper and realized poop was running down his leg and he was jumping in it smashing it in the carpet.....you pay for getting a few poopy diaper free days....
The less often they poop the more comes out when they do!! Have fun!!
**OXY CLEAN** takes poop stains out of the carpet great

that's kind of unusual because how I understood it is that breastmilk makes babies have more bowel movements, and it's kinda seedy and runny. If he doesn't go by day 3, call his pediatrician, and they either might recommend giving him a little bit of pear, prune, or grape juice, or a baby suppository that's made from liquid glycerin.
