The big bang either came from an offshoot of another universe in a larger array of the "multiverse", or was the result of a big "crunch" that saw the compression of a the same universe with different conditions before this one existed. Its thought that this universe is in a cycle of expansion and compression, and we will experience another big crunch once the expansion depletes its energy and begins to collapse.

But the bigger question remains, what came before that? A supernatural being or God capable of creating such a complex structure must have had an origin outside this universe, so saying that "God did it" is a cop out. But you have to consider the possibility that our universe truly has ALWAYS been in this cycle. After all..."always" is a measure of time, and time as we know it would not exist outside of our universe, so infinity may be a very tangible figure.

Basically, I suspect you're looking for the origin of the universe - like the rest of mankind since the beginning of recorded history, and maybe even before.

The Big Bang theory has wide support from scientists since it is supported by numerous observations and recent discoveries - but, unfortunately, it makes no attempt to explain the origin of the singularity or the inconceivable amount of matter and energy in the universe resulting from the Big Bang.

It's interesting that some of our very basic scientific laws actually point to the necessity of a Creator. For instance, we believe that matter cannot be created, yet we endorse theories that have our universe created from a dimensionless point in space. Go figure.

Once again, Einstein said it best:

"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."

lol.... God Has Always Been Will always Be and was not created...... This is what the Bible tells us.. If you dont believe the Word of God then I guess you might think the big bang happened but then u have to ask why did it happen and why doesnt it happen again... and why why why why .... But Faith ends questions because you Believe the unexplained..... And trust that God has it under control-
