I think everyone loves their pets. You can't exolain how, they just become part of your life, like your kids. You spend alot of time with them and they depend on you, they provide companionship and their so lovable, they look at you like your the best person in the world, which makes you feel wonderful. I have 5 cats and I love them all. I recently lost my dog though, and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through.

Yes actually, alot! Sounds really weird to all those people who dont like animals or having pets but my cat really makes my house a home. Hes got his own personality and when my husband is out or at work ive always got Lewie, my little black cat to keep my company. Ive had him since a kitten and for now he is the baby of the house! Hes had a few complications like hes got epalepsy so he has fits once a month which are pretty distressing to watch but he dos'nt know anything is happening and is'nt in any pain so thats some comfort. I would'nt be without though!

I have loved many animals, but one that santds out is my former cat blackie. I got him when he was only four weeks old, and he was the most perfect creature ever. He was the first thing I saw when I woke up in the morning, would help me pick out my clothes, walk me to the door for school, be at the door when I came home, sit by the tub when I bathed, sleep with me, eat at teh tale with me, everything. Even shop with me! I lost him to a bitter breakup i had with an ex who figured that if he could not have me no one or nothing could. He killed blackie one night after breaking into my house while I was at work. i miss blackie every day, and have not had another cat like him since.

I have a horse named Pearl. She is two and a half. She is all heart. I love her to bits, Every day I am reminded of what an amazing creature she is. She is incredibly itelligent, patient, spunky, fun, out going. I have had lots of horses, but she is special. Sometimes I think she can read my mind. When I am sad she is quiet. When I am in a temper she ignores me. When I am hyper, she is too. When I am daydreaming she bunts me with her head. If somthing odd happens she stops and looks at whatever frightend her till she figures out if it is dangerous or not. I can put her in a paddock with just about any horse and they will get along. My favourite part of the day is going into the barn in the morning and hearing her nicker at me.
I used to have a dog like that, a german shepherd. I loved her very much too. She died two years ago. She was 10. I miss her alot. I have another dog now, but the new dog does not understand me like my shepherd used to.

When I was younger, (teens thru thirty) I treated animals with an understanding that they were inferior and beneath the human being. I owned dogs and did not treat them as I should have.
Now older, I have reversed completely. I own a Boxer, (Chloe) and a Mixed Breed, (Bear-Bear). I have realized tha we are very similar to animals. Our body systems are biological and as land breathing mammals we are akin in many ways.
I love my Chloe, we have had her since she was a pup and she is now three and a half. (24) We go for a walk every day and she is with me 24/7. She is smart,............ very smart. I think I could teach her to drive my car. She talks..... She speaks to me and has a body/sign language that includes making vocal noises and nasal sounds. Using these she has a "yes", a "no", a "look at me" etc. Her vocabulary includes- i gotta pee, i gotta poo, I'm hungry, my belly hurts, can I kiss you?, I love you, I want to play, etc.
She's my snuggler and I love her.

I have loved many animals,, mostly dogs.
I love my dog that I have now and past dogs that I have lost. Sometimes I still miss them terriably.
I guess I loved them because they showed me uncondiotional love. I mean they sit and listen and you can tell them the worse things you ever done and they dont judge you. Maybe they dont understand but whatever.
Animals in some cases are easier to love than humans, because they really dont have any other expectaions other than just to love them and be with them.
