They will have you put on a gown and be undressed underneith. They will knock, and you tell her to come in if you are ready. They usually start with a breast exam, which they do very modestly. Then they have you scoot to the end of the exam table so your butt is right on the end. They'll probably say "a little more, a little further, ok". That's what they do with me. Then you will put your feet in the stirrups, she will have a bright light shining down so she can see. Then she will take a speculum, and gently insert it into your vagina. It isn't painful, but can cause slight discomfort. No big deal though. Then she will take a peak, and normally use what looks like a long q-tip. She will explain everything for you and show them to you before hand. She takes a swab from your cervix which will be tested for any irregular cells. If irregular cells are found, it doesn't mean you have cervical cancer, but they will want to do another one, and maybe more tests. Faulty positive tests aren't uncommon. She will also probably ask if you want an std test, which is just one more swab. Then she takes out the speculum, and she will insert 2 fingers gently into your vagina and push on your stomach with the other hand, checking for any irregularities. The actual exam only takes maybe 5 minutes, although it will probably seem longer. She will also ask questions anout sexual activity, family history, menstral irregularities, cramps, when your last period was, when you had your first period, if there is any possibility you are pregnant, or if you have had any problems, questions or concerned. It is very laid back, and they will make it as easy as possible. Nothing to worry about, something that needs to be done, and you will see it isn't as scary as you think. My first time I was the same way.

Okay, take a deep breath and relax. 1. It does not hurt. The doctor or nurse practitioner uses an instrument called a speculum and inserts it into the vagina, opens it and inspects the cervix (the opening to the uterus), along with the vagina and external genitalia. 2. Yes, they insert two fingers into the vagina and place the other hand on the abdomen to feel for the position of the uterus, for the ovaries, and to see if there is any tenderness or masses. 3. The whole process should take around 10 minutes, although it may seem longer to you! 4. A pap smear is obtained by taking a tool called a broom and inserting it into the cervix to take cells to be examined. This part of the exam may cause you to feel mild cramping for a few seconds, but it does not hurt. Also you may have some spotting that day. All normal. This can tell if you have normal cells or cancerous cells. It can also be determined if you have HPV (human papilloma virus), which is implicated in causing cervical cancer. Another part of the well woman exam is a breast exam. They will also listen to your heart and lungs, and check your thyroid gland by feeling the area on your neck. Any woman who is sexually active should have an exam yearly. I know it is embarrassing, but trust me, the person doing the exam doesn't care what you look like and they have seen it all before!

The first thing that happens is a nurse takes your blood pressure, pulse and temp etc. She will ask you when you last period was and if you have any discharges etc. When she is done she will give you a gown and tell you to put it on and leave the room. The doc will come in and you will lay on the exam table and they will put your legs up in the stirrups. The doc will put gloves on and insert a plastice speculum into your vagina so he can see by having it held open. This does not hurt and some docs warm them up so it can actually be kind of nice so to speak. The doc will then visually look at the walls of your vagina. He will then take a small wooden device similar to a thin popsicle stick and GENTLY scrape a few of your cervic cells to put on a slide. This does NOT HURT. If it hurts at any time tell the doc it does. Once he has done this he will remove the speculum and insert a lubricated gloved finger of one hand while he gently but firmly presses on your abdomen to check your ovaries. He will then take the gloves off and wash up and do a breast exam. This is all there is to it. NONE of this should hurt so if anything does hurt as the doc examines you please tell the doc so they can figure out what is going on. Once done the doc will ask if you have any questions etc and you are free to get dressed and leave.

a pap test helps to detect if u have any problems down there. first of all, relax! it can be uncomfortable but if u just take a deep breath and go to ur "happy place" its not so bad. when i go, they have me lie on the table with my feet in the sturrups and scoot my butt to the end of the table. (i love to wear weird socks just for fun cause ur feet are practically over ur head!) then they will glove up and put thier finger in to check around. after that they will put a forcept inside and open u up a little. (sounds bad but its really not unless its cold!) then they use what looks kinda like a long q-tip to swab around. i usually feel a small pinch when they get what theyre after. and then ur all done! they will probably also do a breast exam to check for lumps. sometimes i spot a bit afterwards, so u might want to bring a pad with u. the ones they give me at the gyno are awful! lol ...hope this helps!

they give you exams on your reproductive system and yes they stick their fingers inside the vagina and they do that to make sure there is no infections and everything is okay yes they some type of tool that helps open the vagina all the way up. pap test is a test that they do the take cells from your cervix and see if you have cervical cancer, hpv, and all types of diseases that don't belong there having a pap test is very important and it makes you feel uncomfortable knowing that some one is hovering over your private area but it is always good to know what is going on, yes, they hurt on the first one but if you relax your muscles you'll be fine and just keep taking deep breaths and it's not really that long but even if it was it's tes that will keep your reproductive system healthyand you can get treatment if you have any female infections the female reproductive system is very complex you gotta do what you gotta do!!

you go in the doctor gyno person w.e. asks u questions like when u had sex last time u got ure period and all that crap. then he asks you to get undressed from hip down and leaves the room. he comes in when ure ready and undressed. you lay down on this table thing and place ure feet in stirrups for comfortability and so that you dont move them if ure in pain so nothing goes wrong. he checks the outer part of your vagina and such. then he sticks his gloved finger in just to check for bumps and anything abnormal, he then puts in a speculum which looks scary but it isnt it is just to open ure vagina so he can take a papsmear. for the pap he puts in a long swab into the cervix to take a cell and sends the cell to the lab to see for std's and such. he then looks/touches your boobs for any lumps
then your done
some pepoples is painful some is not depending on your virginity and relaxation
you need to be relaxed or your going to be in a lot of pain.
this procedure is uncomfortable but you have to let them do it.
good luck

i like wrestling by using fact for some reason i like the sensation of the adrenaline rush that the wrestler gets until eventually now he starts a experience. even nonetheless i'm no longer the wrestler i will nonetheless experience the flexibility feeding from the gang and how you get to play out the planned experience on your head. it is confusing to describe, i like it for the entertainment fee, i like how the wrestlers are extra effective than in basic terms wrestlers yet additionally entertainers and that i like how they are in a position to portray a conflict with some super strikes and be a character. I admit that there are a brilliant kind of warm adult adult males in the WWE yet once you rigidity anybody to positioned on a mask i might nonetheless be entertained. it is extra effective than a game it is entertainment, hence it is activities entertainment. :D
