I was really curious and wanted to know if there is another piece I need in order to do this or do I already have a dvd burner on my laptop....which by the way is a ToShiba type laptop.....so give me some tips-advice...or something!!

1. You need a DVD burner drive
2. DVD burning software such as Nero, Easy CD Creator, Sonic or at least Windows Media Player or Real Player
3. Recordable DVD (Discs)
4. Something to record on the discs (movie, video, huge data files, etc.

So u want to burn dvd files on your computer onto a dvd disc? You need some software for that, not just a player. Get NERO

you need the dvd burner and a program called dvd decrypter and or dvd shrink. both you can find for download for free on the net just search those names.

get Nero 6 or 7.......if ur gonna get the movies off other dvd's get DVDFab to rip the encoded movies........nero is pretty self explanitory.........gl
