Work and school were closed due to the weather. So my daughter and I slept in. We exchanged cards and gifts. Then we drove very slowly to the mall and did some clothes shopping. Had some steaks for dinner, watched a movie together and went to bed. Overall, it was a nice day!

Woke my husband of sixteen years up early with a romantic breakfast in bed (he was almost late for work), then surprised my daughters with cards and gifts of chocolates and earrings. When they returned home from school I received handmade cards and my spouse brought me two dozen roses. We all helped to make a 'carpet picnic' type of dinner. Which we ate by candle light.
