how can i boost the signal on my wireless laptop?

Hi,my laptop works fine all round my flat except in the bedroom, infact it works there sometimes but if i move just a few steps the signal gets lost,any idea's

I would say the easiest fix is to boost the signal at the wireless router rather than mess with the laptop hardware.

Try moving the wireless router to a different location or change the wireless channel in the router settings. If this does not work, try purchasing a more powerful antennae (higher db rating).

Go into router settings and change the channel at which the wireless signal works on. In some routers settings also there is a feature that boosts the signal too..
