More and more Republicans are seeing the light and refusing to walk in lockstep. When their constituents say no they listen. Sometimes we have to challenge our leaders when what they are doing is not right. Bush was virtually given carte blanc to do as he wanted in Iraq and we have one of the biggest messes our country has ever been in.
There is quite a scenario that led up to this whole mess involving the Administrations of Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton and Bush 43.
Democracy thrives on diversity and difference of opinion. It is good to see our democracy coming back to life. For awhile it was dying. I am optomistic that it will eventually recover but it may take some time for that to happen.
Blind obedience is the ideal makings of totalitarianism. Saddam knew that and so did Adolph. So does George.
If Bush is the best the Republicans have to offer the GOP is in very big trouble.

Well I will say that the Republicans didn't just through in the vote for Bush over this last deployment. Congress voted for a 60% margin, and that is more than fair, unlike this last Republican Congress America has endured the last 10 years.

Real Vets realize that we are still over here and will continue to support us. If your son was Killed over here I am truly sorry for your Loss and Hope my parents do not have to learn what you already know. What you are not seeing is the way the Iraqi insurgents treat us when news like this makes it's way every day. You can gauge the entire effort from the beginning on a scale and you will see how the effort declined with every voice home that rose against us. Perhaps you have forgotten how the lack of support ruined vietnam. It does effect us. (ps I have 2 signers of the Declaration in my family line as well Both Lee's)

To stand by someone who is wrong, is how Hitler took control. It is the duty of the republican party to speak up. He can not be the best the republicans have to offer or the party is in real danger. Where is the candidate that will stand up for the American people? Why do they think they were elected?

Besides insisting on defeat, failure, and withdrawing from Iraq, what are the liberals proposing for Iraq? They are FULL of criticism, but what do THEY think we should do? I will ask the question here in a few moments, but I get the sneaking suspicion that although Americans aren't happy with the way things are going, they don't want defeat and withdrawal either! Americans want VICTORY! And although the Bush plan may not be the greatest, so far it's the only plan I've heard that doesn't involve cutting and running!

Zero real ones.
In 2008, you will see a bunch of RINOs lose party funding and by 2009, noone will even remember their names.

At this stage we have to stand by him. This Iraq war is much more important than the libs know. All the libs want is power, they do not care about the country.
