I don't think there is anything hidden. It is pretty obvious that they regret the break up and still care.

She is teasing you by casting her line and hoping you bite. What exact feelings does that message elicit from you? It sounds 2 ways. Either she is missing you and her past emotions with you at the time you were together. Or it sounds as if she is "rubbing it in" because she has changed and you would be sorry you "let go" of her. It's all up to you whether or not you choose to react to her message but I would give it some thought before I made a move. Is it meant to make you feel guilty perhaps? You owe her nothing unless your curiosity gets the best of you. She sounds as if she has a load of guilt waiting for you to reclaim. Tears make men soft but guilt is a burden. Good Luck.

I think it hasn't any hidden meaning, maybe the "purpose" of the sender might be "hidden" for you, as you say that this message is "wrecking your head".
So, the message has no mystery. In my opinion, it seems like he regrets letting go of you, and he still sees you like a potential partner(<<"woman" I leg go>>).

Hope everything will turn ok for you! :)

Male melancholia. You won't read about it in Your magazines because Men, it would appear, don't have emotions. Sounds to Me that, like all us Men, Your 'Ex' has come to that time in His life the journey's end is closer than the starting point. This is when Men start to do a little bit of emotional tidying up and look back at the choices We have, made and in a moment of reflection ask, "I wonder what would have happened if I had only not......" It could be 'nice' to say hello, just for "auls lang syne". Present circumstances permitting, of course.

I don't see anything hidden meaning.. the person is saying they think about the woman they let ago (someone they are no longer with and may wish they were).

without the proper context it is hard to say for sure.. but first impressions of it told me that it was someone who was interested in restarting a relationship.. good luck either way
