Geo-politically speaking, you cannot figure that the US will collapse in that short a time span. I think that Russia has many decades of development in order to be able to claim super power status again. If they buy into capitalism without reservation, that time could be shortened somewhat. But, there are many indicators that they are actually moving back in the direction of socialism/communism. In either case it will be quite a while before they will be a factor.
China and India are certainly the two top candidates. Of the two, I believe that the Chinese economy is more indipendent of the US economy and has the best chance to achieve the super power status...mainly because they are basically already there or have very little distance to travel. India is also nearing a point where it can be in a position to take off to super power status.
But the criteria of your question was by 2020. The US will continue as a super power well into the century but I think you have to give China the nod as having the best shot at becoming the world's biggest super power in that time period.

Ther is an old saying in Tamil which if translated would mean that A rich man is one who has food stuff staored in his barn. It is true that at times of crisis, let us say the area is completely surrounded by flood waters and there is no way to escape except to wait for the water to recede, what people need in that situation is food and definitely not money, since it can not be eaten.
Similarly, a country who can feed all its subject from OUT OF ITS OWN PRODUCE can definitely become Super Power. Can India become a super power viewing from this angle? The answer seems to be yes which emanates from the following points
Indian food habits are simple ones
Indian food items can be prepared from base materials ie., crops cultivated in India
There are very many varieties of soils to suit the requirements for cultivating the various types of food grains, pulses and all other food items requred to meet the various types of requirements for the food habits of Indians
The Agrarian revolution is producing more food and the population growth is coming down.
With a full stomach, It will be India who will be the Super Power in 2020

In 13 years??? india dosnt have the slightst chance... maybe in 60 or 70 years at least. in 13 years most likely we will still be the super power come on guys we have the nations best army by far, but china is coming up fast! i would say in about 25 to 30 years china will be tied if not more of super power then us. But i cant really see india being a super power any time soon. they may have a lot of people but thats it.

When it comes to answering the first part of you question..can't say for sure. If China goes on the rate it is, then yes, no doubting it. Problem is, no matter how capitalist, communism always has and most probably will leave people unhappy. If the Chinese people get tired and fed up, then China's chance is nil.
As far as India goes, in the next 13 yrs? Highly doubtful. We have a long way to go. We're growing, but being a democracy and 2nd largest population is a downfall when it comes to being the superpower.
Also, at the way the world is shaping up, whoever it is, they wont be able to do much if the world's going to be such a big disasterious outcome of global warming.

Possible for India if it reaches a top 10 nation in Human Development Index (currently India is ranked 126).
A country is not made of land; a country is made of its people.

By 2020 the only thing left on this planet will be a smoldering pile of debris. So which ever country has the biggest rocks and sticks will be considered the "super power."

No. Perhaps not yet. India needs a lot of work and it can't do it within 13 years. First it needs to sort out poverty, and all children of India need an education. Education is key.

USA, and Russian Federation, but after 2020 I am not so sure. Asia is on the rise. EU may collapse, unless they stop acting selfish and biased against certain countries.

It depends on what countries continue (or begin) to embrace capitalism.
China, Russia, and even India all have the markets, the size, and the resources to become superpowers.
We will just have to see how wise their governments are.
My opinion: The US and China
